Twotone is a London based studio with a passion for Mexican design. We admire and support the unique craftsmanship skills from local communities in the legendary state of Oaxaca.

Our bags are handmade by local artisans and female prison inmates using traditional weaving techniques. Oaxacan artisans have mastered these skills for centuries, producing beautiful day to day objects.

Born out of a government-backed initiative to encourage social reintegration, these bags and other such handicrafts are being produced to support inmates and promote their work to a wider audience.

Each bag is handmade and unique; designs are inspired in geometric patterns influenced by the local prehispanic heritage and made from long lasting and durable materials.
